The law shows us how to live.
The law ultimately reminds us that we need a Savior.
And the law reminds us that we are all one in Christ. For we all are sinners in need of His grace!

The Gospel is not the invention of humankind but a revelation from God through Jesus.
If humankind had invented it, it wouldn't have lasted.
Besides we would never have made up such a Gospel.
Further, if we had made it up, it wouldn't change us.
