Too often we ruin our Christmas celebrations and negatively impact our lives by putting on "ugly" attitudes. We wear them almost like "Ugly Christmas Sweaters."
This message considers how "Ugly Thoughts" are impacting us.

Jesus did not just know God's will, nor did he merely do God's will, but He accomplished God's will.
We too are called to do and accomplish God's will.
Scripture tells us what we must do and we can finish well, if we:
Focus on God
Hunger for God's Word
Hate Sin
Are Faithful in the little things.
Are Wholehearted
Avoid an independent spirit.

In this devotion we see that God causes the grass to grow and the trees to grow, providing nourishment and lodging.
God also created and controls the sun and the moon and the seasons.
God gives the day as a time for men and women to go out and labor.
God is Lord. Is God, Lord of your life?

John understood that he was the forerunner of the Messiah but not the Messiah.
He understood that the time had come for him to fade into the background and for Jesus to move to the forefront.
He understood that Jesus must increase, but he must decrease.
